Come star-gazing on a Romantic Break at Little Trewern!

When you come on a Romantic Break at Little Trewern, you really can gaze up at the night sky and see the constellations in all their glory!

The Brecon Beacons National Park has become only the fifth place on the planet to be granted the status of an international dark sky reserve!

That means that where we live on the edge of the National Park is one of the best places in Europe to experience truly dark skies!

So when you come to stay at Little Trewern, don’t forget to bring your telescope or binoculars. Or just treat yourself to half an hour outside on a clear night, and enjoy the amazing views of the constellations.

The nearest light to us is about half a mile away, and when there is no moon,  it is often difficult to know whether a twinkle on the horizon is a star or planet, or the light from a distant farm.
